I hope the Bards and BOH are right about leaving the cities lightly defended.

I would not be surprised if we lose these horses. I just hope this buys us enough good will with the TNA to keep us from being BOH's next target.

Should we contact the TNA re possible peace deals? I mean that there should be no seperate peace between DR and a member of TNA. This war is to remove DR from the island. Right?

I'd hate to find out that BOH has a ROP with DR in a few turns.

I sure hope that is not in the cards. If it is - then BOH's goal is clearly one of global destabilization while they build a strong army. In my mind, the worse case scenario would be us and Euphorica throwing our units at DR and losing them, and BOH taking light or no casualties and calling the whole thing off - and as you suggested - making peace with BOH. If that happens .... I am sure Euphorica and ourselves will have some solutions.

Hmmm,

If we move to the 'safer' spot first, would the Lagging Horse be able to catch up with the others, even after they move an attack (i.e. reinforcement while engaged)?

I'm not quite sure what you mean.

The lagging horse cannot catch up to them in time to join the attack. To join the attack, the rest would have to delay a turn. So no, no way to get him in on the initial assault, though later he can catch up.

Say that we move to 'safer' spot, then attack, when can that other horse get to main stack?

Will he be intime to 'reinforce'?

Well, we wanted to secure our homelands from a possible (though not too probable) sneak attack by BOH or AM...

Keeping it... I donīt know, we only have horsemen there. Even if we succeed in taking it (which I doubt), there wonīt be enough forces to fend off the counter-attack...

There are horses there. We can use it as a source of units there.

Or. We can gift it, trade to BOH or Eu. A sign of goodwill and bla bla bla.

We don't want it back in DR hands.

We Need to secure our Home against the Impending Barbarian Hordes that always pop up when 2 (or more) Civs get to the next age. This could be very bad, especially with 3 major directions that they could come from (NE, West & SW).
