	TNA: The DR War Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

...and our part in it, is why I'm starting this thread.

DR is further east than I expected; it's going to be a long trip even for horsemen. Do we want to start moving horsemen towards them as they become available? For instance, either Ivanova or Garibaldi could leave IT without depriving it of MP. Sinclair could leave Kurra if we don't mind leaving it garrisoned by only a bowman.

Hmmm - I was thinking along those same lines as well. The real benefit to this will be proof to BOH and Euphorica (aka Bards) that we are serious about the military side of the alliance.

We now have our first horseman near DR borders.

We should get intel from BOH and Euphorica, and find out where our horsemen would best be put to use (once more arrive to make an actual fighting force; Sinclair and Ivanova are on the way)

Read the BoH plan, and the words of Snoopy369 on email. Will this be a plan that we want? If true, the Horse could puncher DRow vicously. Yeilding a strong city for us, an excellent example of our participation, rewarding us quickly and getting the business done.

I don't trust BOH for long. But we have entered into the TNA and this war. It looks like Aquarius will be our spoils of war.

How do we propose to hold it? Lost Boys might see it as a threat. BOH and Euphorica will want it after TNA disolves. Do we just look at it as land for use in a future trade?

Before we attack. Have we traded Monarchy to DR in hopes of causing anarchy during our attack? I thought everyone liked this idea of Beta. BOH liked it.

I am in favor of helping the TNA with techs and delaying our actual attack of DR as long as is possible.

We now have the possibility of attack. Here's a picture of the area. The horse on the mountain by Aquarius has moved, the others haven't.

If we move the stack 6-3, they'll be on a mountain where DR won't automatically spot them. (Though a horse in Aquarius could move out, look, and move back in to the city.) I'm leaning toward that move. But what then? Are we going to follow through with this attack? If so, is this a good time for Euphorica & BOH?

I am very confused. Here it seems that you are in favor of TNA vs DR, but only 20 minutes later you started a thread looking to attack our allies BOH.

This team needs to make a decision. Are we in the TNA? Do we trust BOH?

My thinking was it was to ask about BoH. If we do not trust them, attack them. I voted for TNA. Reading all threads today, I vote for TNA. Are we not Babylon, Greatest Empire. War! Win Aquarius. Unleash the Dogs of War! In my mind the aweful news of war is true. Who is our main warrior? Who leads our Armies? Where is Joncunn? he led well in Japan.

So, now is the time to press on.

Question: Do we want to move to 1 of Aquarius, or 1-4? Our horsemen are not good at defense and we know they have at least one Immortal in the city. If the city is stacked with Immortals, moving to 1 will likely result in a lot of dead or 1 HP horses depending on our retreat luck, while 1-4 keeps us out of Immortal range, forcing them to wait for us to come to them.

If they have horsemen, either tile is bad, but 1-4 gives us insurance against them having many Immortals available and could be the difference between another massacre and victory.

And where to move Marcus, the lagging Horse? 6-6 gives him the most options, I think.

Remember, the massacre was intentional though more devastating than hoped for. It was a tactical suicide

Yeah, I refer to it as a massacre due to the proportions of Euphorican HP losses vs. DR HP losses, not because they lost the stack to greater forces.
