We greet the Iraqi government! I am the current Foreign Affairs Guy for Monty Python. Our government recently uncovered the secrets of how to effectively rule a civilization through a Monarchy - you know, a dictator (a concept I assume you are familiar with). my answer:

MaST has no immediate interest in aquiring monarchy as we happen to be quite satisfied with our current republic. However, times may come when monarchy may be a better option. Just of curiosity, what is your asking prize?

I doubt we need Monarchy until we have warred for so long our WW are crippling us, should be plenty of time to shop around for monarchy until then.

I suspect MP would ask for an NDA, particularly for the monkeys, so we couldn't trade it to them anyway.

We'd be willing to sell Monarchy for around 240g. Of course, we could reduce that price for a promise to trade iron some time in the future.

240g ain't that bad if we can sell it on to the monkeys

And iron...I doubt we can lay our hands on another iron source anytime soon, besides, it would interfere with our plans for world-domination (cough)

Yeah no go on giving them iron ever they're screwed without iron so...... let them be screwed it's much better for us....

Maybe we should form IPEC with the other nations and make an agreement never to trade iron to them, or maybe just make that agreement with Tabemono then attack SS.....

I don't see any need for Monarchy whatsoever..... might be worthwhile to lead them on with regard to Iron trading. If they think they'll never get iron they may be more likely to attack sooner to get a source. The longer the game goes on the stronger we get compared to them....
