	HoI2 issues Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

I have been playing HoI2 a bit more lately, and have come up against a few annoyances.

1. I find diplomacy close to useless. I have never been able to convince anyone to jopin my alliences, even when I am paramount. As Germany I had achieved bitter peace with the USSR, had conquered the Levant, Iraq, Iran, all of India and Burma, and have had +200 relations with Nationalist Spain and Portugal, and +100 with Romania for years, and yet I can;t convince any of them to join me! (I would like Spain and Portugal to make it easier for me to take the Brits out of Africa).

What does it take for anyone to join an allience!?

2. People stay at war for stupid reasons. IN another game as the USSR, I have beaten Germany, annexed it at Poland. Austria, Hungary, Romania and Czechoslovakia are puppets. I formed the Italian Socialist republic. I offer the last remaining Axis, Italy, a white peace (Italy is still at war with the Allies, including a never conquered France AND the US) and yet they refuse! What kind of idiots are they!

3. Is it possible to create a greater Poland while still having a German puppet? I did a game from 1936 were I conquered Germany as Poland in 1936. I tried to then liberate Germany, thinking I would still get Silesia, Pomerania, and East Prussia while the rump Germany would be a fine puppet to milk for tech (since they will have 5 research teams while I have only 2), and yet if I liberate Germany they go back to full size!

ARe those provinces national provinces? If not, there's no way you can keep them if they are the national provinces of a puppet you liberate.

Can you liberate the DDR or FRG as Poland?

I've never seen a greater Poland. In fact after Germany annexes Poland all you can create is the Soviet 1945 Poland. I was France beat Germany then started fighting the USSR and wanted to release Poland back to its 1939 borders to work as an ally but couldn't.

I also had a problem where the USSR was getting its ass kicked yet when French Forces took Berlin suddenly everything became Soviet puppets. WTF?! The Soviets were the great wimps of the war!

Despite Great Relations the Governments also need to be close to you own Domnestic Policies it seems.

Italy is eager to accept after the Fall of Paris, Only Hungary/slovakia ask sometimes to join the Alliance ,but no avail (who doesnt annex them in PreWar Years) :/
