quick question Suffering from ads?

Eons ago when I played this game I remember modding alpha.txt so that bases could only be created on land, not at sea. Years later I no longer have a clue how I did this and wish to duplicate my earlier modifications. Is it as simple as disabling the pressure dome facility? I don't remember modding the tech but rather the units themselves; so this doesn't seem right. Any ideas?

You could disallow Sea Colony Pods.

But what're the pirates going to do? You'll need to make them not aquatic.

What sea colony pods? In alpha.txt there are only colony pods.

disable the colony pod as a weapon
leave the standard colony pod in the basic units list
