New episodes are back on tv. Perhaps the greatest tv moment since the moon landing in '69 and the last episode of Mash.

Okay so some have complained they aren't as good as the old episodes, but they are still pretty funny. Yeah I have to tape them and watch them later. Just got done watching.

Sperm dumpster. . Hilarious stuff. Classic comedy.

ahh deadwood. The show were even intelligent white women from the big city say the word cocksucker every 10 seconds.

You can't get a show with better dialog and character development than Deadwood. Last year it was merely nominated for an Emmy. This year it WILL win it.

Oh, and Alma Garrett has never said cocksucker throughout the entire show's run, so sorry, but you is wrong .

regardless, was that word even in use at the time? The language is a big turnoff for me. I expect it in the Sopranos, but not this.

Oh come on... you watch such realistic shows like "The Family Guy", but using the word cocksucker in a show about the 1880s Old West turns you off? WTF? Would you rather they used the old time curses so you'd have no idea what the Hell they are talking about?

The Simpsons and Futurama are both a notch above Family Guy, imo. I love all three shows though.

Tonight's American Dad was the first one that actually caused me to laugh consistently. God help me, that show is growing on me.

And, honestly, I think The Simpsons still have it. I have rewatched in syndication some episodes from 2000 forward that I absolutely hated and found hysterical stuff I missed the first time I viewed them. That has always been the key to the Simpson's success: new jokes found on repeat viewings. I always find something new to laugh at, even after I've seen every episode easily more than a dozen times.

Simpsons isn't as consistantly funny as they used to be, but they still have hilarious bits here and there.

I loved when Mr. Burns took over the symphony hall they had built and turned it into a prison. I forget all the lines, but he was saying his would be much better than abu grab (spelling is way off, I know) prison. He said he'd get a much better person to point at genetalia. .

I'd argue right now, that Mr. Show is better. Evne the edited versions on COmedy Central.

The thing I don't like about the new Fmaily Guy's nad even American Dad, is that there seem to be fewer jokes per capita. It has somewhat the same spirit, but is lacking in the coolenss department.

Not so much that there is a defecit, but there isn't a surpluslike ther used to be.
