	URGENT - Last minute Endgame change Tired of ads?

For some inexplicable reason, ND has told us that the UN vote popped up this turn, I believe 15 turns, not 20 as we had thought.

Vox has not had enough time to reach the 25% territory necessary to be on the ballot, hence it will be impossible to vote for them.

This is zeri's messages:

I think it would be an honor that they vote for us. I told them that we'd discuss this too though we'd wait until their poll is over before we decide on how to proceed.

Well. I think it should be one of us. Continuing like we are is utterly ridiculous. Lets get this thing over with.

Who to vote for is a different matter. I honestly believe we should vote for us, but I know and everybody else knows that we could not have done this alone. However, this is an Apolyton site and I think that we should vote for an eligable Apolyton team.

Which just happens to be GoW.

The man can score 60,000 in a single game of civ! His posts and opinions are a valuable part of the community and loosing him is a loss to all.

Frankly MZ you were even starting to piss me off. Just drop it and play all hippie nice. The game is over. No reason to continue bickering. You (and I and others) have one opinion, he (and others) have another opinion. You won't convince them and they won't convince us. Its pointless.

I never said it was a good thing, I just find it rather odd that he chooses to reply to each and every post I make when there's a debate at hand, and now that there's all hippie loving... fades away.

I'm quite tired of discussing myself, as you say, it is quite pointless and am glad to see it's all over (save for some last minute nye insults). Hell I joined the hippie bandwagon the moment it started, I don't know where you got the idea I was still arguing

I'm definately not crying about it.
I have got no problem when team members passionately defend their positions on the main forum. Taking your bat & ball and going home, wins no respect from me.


Not voting for ND just because they are not native Apolytons is not a good reason.

The fact that we were more active in each major event which led us to our victory is a good reason.

If thats ND's vote, then I am happy to do that.

However, I also think we should offer to replay the last turn and gift some cities to Vox. Then still vote for them. That would be my first preference.

Unless im out too late my suggestions are either to vote for ND and let Vox decide the winner OR if you guys could get together one day or something and speedplay the last turns. Waiting another two weeks seems quite pointless frankly.

Reasons for it is that neither we could've won this on our own and we should honour our long time allies. Besides Vox might have been beaten badly, lost almost all of their active members & even their homeland but they never lost their humor and spirit. It would be fun to let them decide which one of us who wins or if they'd rather win themselves, which would be the funniest solution.
(Or we just replay one turn and gift vox some cities, we are the only ones in game so noone should have a problem with it)

Ok, we will not replay this save. For the single reason that the sore loser crowd will start crying "foul" and tarnishing the endgame even more. I don't want to give them a single new pretext for whining or for spoiling our little party.

So I did the honorable thing. I voted for ND and left the final decision to Vox. They supposedly pledged their vote for us so let's see if they keep their word.
