Or we could have a designated thread for them to post in if it becomes necessary. (Though I agree they should ideally not post at all so long as things go smoothly, to avoid even the appearance of leaking hints.)

The thing I'm worried about is, "oh, your team is much more active than Apolyton's." Or, "oh, your team is much less active than Apolyton's."

Having an overseer in your forum is that bad. Trip had access to all the forums in the PTWDG I, and I don't recall him letting anything spill (although he would get excited and more active as events neared).

But designating a thread for them to post in exclusively (where they are allowed to ONLY post in that thread and ONLY the Consuls are allowed to respond in) is an excellent idea.

I'm fine with it, just as long as the threads in the forum doesn't affect their decision. For example, they choose not to punish a team as severly simply because by looking through their threads the admins see that that team is losing badly.

Just the clear something up guys, there are only three circumstances Elucidus and I would ever post in this forum.
1.) I'll start a thread to deliver the results of an investigation.
2.) I'll start a thread if the save is held up, to try and get it moving again.
3.) I'll reply to any posts asking the admins a question.
