Hail to the Victors!
The People's Army of the Ladder, representing the Civ 3 Players, the Active MP Community, with an in-team cumulative total of well over 100,000 active-MP games played:
Competitive Rankings Center: www.myleague.com/civ3players
Community Bulletion Boards: civ3players.proboards2.com
Captain: Friedrich Psitalon (ptaguildmasterNOSPAM@NOSPAMaol.com)
Current President: Alski (alan.hylandNOSPAM@NOSPAMtesco.net
Membership Roster:
Friedrich Psitalon - He is a very good warrior, but does undestand balance in all things (military & building). I'm uncertain if I would be happy wih them close to us or not, because he has the task of reigning in the "foaming at the mouth's" warmongers in their group, and he can only do so much. They can be the best of allies and the worst of enemies and won't blink if they have to change from one to the other at a moments notice.

Conmcb25 (Immigrant from APO) - Look for him to take on a FAM role. But don't take the fact that he was here recently as that he would look favorabley towards us. Depending on who he talks to, it might 'color' his reactions to any proposal

Provolution (from CFC) - He always has an elaborate military plan. Watch out for him; I fear he'll have a plan to take any city from us should he have the opportunity to.

Trip - an egomaniac, who if you stroke the right way, will give you info that he doesn't realize that he's giving. He is good with both Military usage and Domestics, although he is still learning the fine points of the domestic angles. He likes to get into everthing, like FAM, ect. He is outspoken, especially when he gets an idea, even though it quite isn't the best one (and it takes a lot of arguement and information to counter his points of view, beleave me). He is very good with Sims and can figure very closely (if he has a map) of the capabilities of his opponent(s). He is also onthe playtesting team, with Fraxis, for Civ4, so his time might not be too much to expend to this, but don't really count on it

CDZ
Aggie - might or might not be the same as here, as MZ has told me that his handle name is popular - currently trying to find out.
OPD - He was on the poly PTWISDG team, has been in several DG's and plays a lot of PBEM's. Expect the unexpected from him.
CBR
Nemisis - I recognize his handle from MZO. Maybe MZ would have more info on him and others.
CGN
Miccofl runs that site. He also works long hours with a Prominate South Florida Seafood Resteraunt.
Most of these people are still noobs, but the have learned fast, especially after what had happened to them in the PTWISDG.
Trip has shown them the way, so to speak. He is an egomaniac, who if you stroke the right way, will give you info that he doesn't realize that he's giving. He is the one who had proposed the no unit coastal wall rule and I look for him to purseade CGN with going with Scandinavia this round, for the Berzerkers (which will null out any shield wall). He is good with both Military usage and Domestics, although he is still learning the fine points of the domestic angles. He has an older copy of my spreadsheet, although he might not use it when things get going, but when things are simple, he will likely use it. He likes to get into everthing, like FAM, ect. He s outspoken, especially when he gets an idea, even though it quite isn;t the best one (and it takes a lot of arguement and information to counter his points of view, beleave me). He is very good with Sims and can figure very closely (if he has a map) of the capabilities of his opponent(s). The CDZ memberlist was updated - I edited the above post with that new information.
I might add CDZ to the watch list. They're all a bunch of frequent PBEMers, and I expect that they'll have the same advantage in the game that PAL gains from MP.
I wouldn't worry too much about the CFCers now at CDZ, either. They're all good players at the SP game, I think, but are also all generally nice.
Provolution, who's now at CGN, is an interesting character, if end-of-round 1 discussion at the UN wasn't enough to prove it. He was pretty active at the CFC SPDG, and is a character with frequent grand imperialist visions. If he decides to participate actively in the game, watch out for warmongering from them.

A thing I always hear us (CFC) saying at the end of an ISDG is that we played the game like a single player game. We need more MP practice...
About Provolution - He always has an elaborate military plan. I have recently (to answer the Aggie question) been looking at the CDZ website forum. They have indivudual forums for each member, for them to post "spoilers" from each of their games.
First Impression: Their Aggie is DEFINATELY NOT the same Aggie that is here at ACS. So, we are free to approch our Aggie to try to at least Lurk.
Second Impression: This is a GREAT tool to get into the minds of a lot of CDZ's teammembers and figure out their thinking processes. They, at least, are not that experianced in some respects, but are also have some (small) working knowledge as to what goes into a DG. They will definately use their Mounted Warrior when they get around to it, with a possibility of a feint to draw away resistance to somewhere else (like they did with CFC).
Third Impression: A LOT of stuff to review and I simply DON'T have that kind of time to spend. I would really be nice, for some of our more industrious team members to have a look and present a synopsys of the different players/styles.
Lastly, I wouldn't put it past them, to try to steal techs from whoever is the tech leader, when they get around to it. I've really considered that part to not be worth it, but from some things that I've read, they seem to do it fairly regularly.

Not too sure how important this is, but I've discovered an admin checking out CDZ's private forums. The ISDG private forum is the only one that I know of there (besides the CFC vs. RUS PBEM, but he doesn't have access).
