	Tired of this Bullsh*t Inflate your Upload Space

Pardon me while I dump on everyone, but I (unfortunately) want 'Apolytons' advice. (Yes I know asking Poly for advice is asking to be ridiculed) but, bear with me.


So, lemme enlighten you all on the situation. Ok, well after graduating highschool my friends and I went on our own path. I worked on a dinner cruise with a high turnover rate. The hostesses were of varied socio-economic statuses. Where I live, I'm considered upper-middle...whereas most of my co-workers are considered low to upper-low.

Any fricken way, in my youth I was afforded much opportunites to "get tail" and I did. Mostly one night stands. Tourists, horny single mothers, etc. (I'm not bragging, seriously). Anyway, I cut that sh** out because while it was fun, it just wasn't me. And even though tourists come here for fun, I didn't really want to do that kind of crap anymore.

Well, anyway, my friend from H.S. he got involved with a girl and he has been...ah...copulating...more than myself as of late. However, now, his girlfriend has gone back to her country of origin for a few months.

Anyway, during the time with his girl and now the time away from his girl, he's been (seemingly) throwing barbs at me about...copulating...and how he misses it. I mean, I'm sure he knows that before I was doing ok...and I've hit a dry spell for a long time due to a romantic catastrophe (which Ted really helped my a** out of).

But whatevers, I'm tired of hearing all these barbs that he's throwing at me. I don't want to remind him that before he met his girl, I was more successful at meeting women than he was (before my distaster). Thing is, I don't know how to handle this seemingly delicate situation. And here is where I put myself at the mercy of 'Poly....




HTH do I deal with this situation? I don't want to remind him that before meeting his g/f, I was...erm....'getting more tail'...than he was. But at the same time, I don't want to be an a**hole and just take it. What are youse guys comments/suggestions?

Well I'll say it straight up...


When he starts talking that sh*t, it kind of reminds me of this past relat. And as weak as it sounds, it fricken sucks. It's like every time he says that kind of crap, it reminds me of this failed relat. And while i wasn't very promiscuous (sp?) I checked myself out and I'm clean...and so is he.

But maybe I should just tell him to STFU....but, ah, i'd like more comments before I decided to go 'postal' on him.

And Harrison and Comrade Agathon have hit a existential point that I never realized.

Dunno though, I'm just tired of him telling me all this sh*t about him and his g/f (while I was doing stuff before him that was more f***ed up) But it seems like because he's doing it NOW, everything else is irrelevant. And, unfortunately, sometimes it seems like too much. And yeah, I plan on telling him "STFU" as per Ingrid...but I want to be a little more gentille...just cause we're friends and all. And I'm considered the "PC" guy in the group.

I just hate it when he does those little things that are more 'passover' type things then "whoa, WTF did you just say?'

You know...those things that are too fast in convo's that are hard to address...

Telling other people about the great sex you've had is horrible. Telling people about great sex you didn't have is better.

Just ignore him. Or tell him to shut up. Or better still, tell him you don't believe him and heard it about that he was a five-second Tony.

So what's the issue here, again?

You're mad 'cause he's getting some and you're not?

You're mad 'cause he might end up with more notches on his bedpost than you?

You're mad 'cause he showing you how craptacular your attitude and actions were?

You're mad because he's able to brag about something that you think is better kept private?

I really can't see the issue here. If his talking is pissing you off, tell him to STFU. But you'd be better served to figure out why it's pissing you off as well.
