I post here for several reasons.

First of all, because of the people here, there are some great folks and some not so great ones, but I won't say who is who.

Secondly, because the forums put me on a level playing field, in letting me follow conversations with my eyes.

Thirdly, because I enjoy trolling all those who have opposite viewpoints, and sharpening my own points.

I post because it's a window to the world in a sense. The crowd is varied enough (though some groups are overrepresented) and I like variation. And the pace is slow enough for me to follow. It's a good filter of world current events
