	Why do you post on apolyton? Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

I post because I have been a part of this extended community for a long time (I posted on the alphacentauri forums from summer 1998) (the summer before the game came out)

I also value all the very different people who post on here, and so I get a lot of different view points that I dont' have representatives of arround me

i post cause the marketing department insist that the Owners show up at the forum and pretend to have a connection to the customers, eeer fellow civers.

this is all nuts imho, but i've been able to add a special "posting bonus" on my salary so...

i came for civ II mp forum
you can blame slowwhand
hes the one brought me here.
i love playing online with the civ community here.
bunch of great guys.
loved tribes when they were active.

offtopic.. i didn't touch for a long time
in fact ming had to drag me and slow
over here screaming and ranting..
got slow baned for a while , he put up such a fuss.
we wanted to post over in the mp forum.
but ming rules with an iron hand.
so here i am ...

im amused and amazed at the diverse opinions
weird thoughts, interesting topics.

ive met some really great friends here.
some who have helped me through some dark times.
sprayber , chris , coldwizard just a few of them.
there are some really special people here.

i came here for SMAC a think...then didnt came here for a long time until the demo games began....when from chieftain to king in 2 months...then started lurking in SMAC II and III and from the IRC guys got stranded here...never posted much on the OTF but nowadays i do so that i dont have to work...

Having now more than 60000 registered users Apolyton is an evil Greco-Canadian plot for world dominance. To achieve this high goal members are brainwashed via the fora and turned into drones - so-called polytubbies - serving Mark and Dan without own will. However I am resistant against those evil forces, since I'm only posting wearing a tinfoil hat. My exclusive reason to post here is to inform the polyworld about this evil conspiracy, and to bring the poor poly slaves back into light.

At first it was because of A.C., then it was Civ 3 (until I realized just how bad it was compared to A.C.)...then it was MoO2 (until I realized just how bad it sucked to A.C.).

Then I got the cajones to post in the O.T. I heard it was the place of the bottomfeeders and drunks. But now the O.T. is pretty fun...especially cause I'm the latter.

(And I still post on 'Poly cause they make kick a** products. Still drinking beer outta my steiny and tea out of my mugs... )

Came for Civ III. Started in file creation and moved to Demogames.

Started posting OT because of some rant from David Floyd about police.

Now, according to my wife, you guys have turned into my "drinking buddies".
