Corrupt files? Got spare money?

Every time I try to open a scenario I get an error messae that says the data file may be corrupted, I can't figure out what's wrtong with it.

What version of Civ3 do you have? (Expansions & patches applied.) Make sure you have the latest version.

When were the scenarios you downloaded made? Especially if it was before Civ3 1.29, I think there may be some compatibility issues.
