So, I just found this in my inbox:

Honestly, TMM, what do u think?

If this isn't a scam to get ur funds, it's a money laundering operation. Plain, pure, and simple.

But if U want to go ahead and give them ur informations, please, keep us in the loop and let us know what happens. I'm sure the story will be highly entertaining.

It would be interesting to see one of the scam-baiters have a go at this type of thing. It would be interesting to see if

1. they suddenly require some fees or
2. this is the fake money order scam and they hope you to send on the cash before the fake is spotted or
3. its just money laundering so you don't get scammed but you move some drug money around or something

I have to say, I think you should "join" the company, inform the cops, and see what they can find out...you never know, you might just help catch some scammers...you know, get some extra brownie points with the cops so that when you get that next speeding ticket...

Aside from being an obvious scam, what cracks me up is the English they use. Now if you are looking for a job you generally get used to the fact that employers will at least use a decent level of English...referring to "u" or "ur" or not capitalising "i" will make me frown upon the advert immediately...besides other spelling and grammatical problems...

It does amaze me that some people consider this lazy, sloppy, truncated form of writing somehow acceptable. If I got a letter from a potential employer, no matter how legitimate, written in this style, I would be very, very wary...

I wasnt trying to inform him it was a scam, Id hoped to think he figured that out on his own. I was simply laughing at the fact that these scammers were idiots. And mention that if they were going to try and scam me at least have the decency to do it in better english.

And did you notice that the name of the company in the second paragraph and in closing are different? The company probably doesn't have much of a future if the CEO can't remember it's name.
