I've registered #Babylon on CivIrc (server irc.civirc.com). You'll need to register your nick so I can add you to the access list.
Status of the chatroom, since it seems LN has forgot to post about it: it seems the password problem will not be fixed immediately, so the channel has been switched to access list security. Only people with nicks on the access list can join the channel, and only nicks that have been registered (and are thus password protected) can be added to the access list.
Here's how to register: get on irc.civirc.com with either a client program (mIRC, ChatZilla, etc.) or one of the browser clients available through http://www.civchat.com/
Set your nickname to what you want to register, which I imagine would be your username here on poly. (Command: "/nick Nickname" example would be "/nick Kloreep" for me)
To register your nick, type "/msg NickServ REGISTER password email" with password replaced with the password you want and the e-mail replaced with your e-mail.
Once you do this, a message will be sent to your e-mail address with instructions and a code for one more command to confirm registration. Once you do this your nick is registered. Each time you log on to CivIRC you will need to use the same nick, and to type "/msg NickServ IDENTIFY password" to be able to log on to #Babylon. (I'll need to add you to the list first, though.)
