Actually my point was, which I regret I didn't make as clear as I could have, was that teens using cell phones while driving had reaction times comparable to senior citizens without cell phones. Clearly showing that a teen without a cell phone was much better than the average senior citizen.
She and the host sadly missed that point, and I didn't get enough time to clarify.
But thanks for the play by play John.  
I had another strong point I wanted to make, but didn't get the chance to. Namely that the only reason we are discussing a cell phone ban for teens, and not seniors (who are just as, if not more dangerous) is that seniors vote, youth can't (because of the voting age). So politicians can pick on teens because they can't at all fight back. That would really have underlined the whole argument, but I didn't get a chance. Oh well, it still went well.
