Round Six saw the largest soda consumption in history, since my last term paper. Jaguar saw two more root beers go down the tubes, thanks to Skanky once again, leaving only the original A&W; but that wasn't the half of it. Jonny saw not two, not four, but all five of his cokes go down the tubes - thanks to EPW and Atragon each drinking four. EPW ended up with the Diet Coke, as Atragon was concerned with the possible side-effects of Aspartame, particularly the fact that it is converted in your body to formaldehyde. Eww.

* snoopy369 takes another drink of diet coke and continues writing ...

Speaking of side-effects, one partygoer who wasn't the least concerned with them was Sparrowhawk, who drank not only Blood and Heavy Water, but also Battery Acid and Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster. Ewww. Somehow, he staggered away and made it to the nearest purge facility in time, but Kassi was left with only a single drink on his tray.

Hercules took the time during this craziness to ask the now-bored bartender to pour him a Campari & Soda.

The remaining partiers hung out near the wall once more ...

I sure hope there's nothing wrong with Aspartame. Of course, it looks as if it will be phased out eventually in favor of Splenda. (aka chlorinated sucrose)

Oh, the fermaldehyde breakdown is well-known and true. However, the amount of aspartame in diet coke is pretty tiny. It's not known exactly how well your body deals with fermaldehyde - as far as I know anyway - so that's where the question comes, when it's been around 50+ years and they start comparing blindness incidences over people who drank aspartame-dietcoke for their whole lives (Fermaldahyde causes blindness, in large amounts) ...
