	Internet play W2000pro Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

Hi Folks,

I and my wife would like to play CTPI in MP mode on Internet. Both we have Win2000pro, ADSL. We used to play on our local LAN but now I am for a long time away from her. I found here the server dat file, installed, so did she. We can enter the lobby create game but she or I can not join the game. Message something like network connection error, or you are denied.
The same situation with CTP II we also used to play.
PBEM game is no good as I can open the file I sent to here and see her screen. We always want to win and for sure can not stop to cheat on that. At least we do not trust in this to each other
Any idea how to play a MP with Win2000PRO?

There is a thread about downloading the dll files from ctp2 which work for ctp1

it helped with xp issue

maybe this will help

Hi Gramps,

Thnx. for helping. Meantime I am also searching the forum. I posted couple years ago problem with LAN game on the same win2000 opsystem. The solution was to instal Win98. I would like to avoid this "solution" in this case. Eh, maybe it is worth to go for a XP op system. But this one is tuned and working fine. On other hand life on weekend without CTP is very boring....

Hi Gramps,

I did downloaded and installed the files. Actually it did not help but we found that just only one CD can be in driver. When she removed her CD she could join the game Unfortunately she always out with error msd "Database out of synch". I read something about this error msg somewhere...
