You say that as if someone is trying to rip you off. This isn't like somebody trying to sell you one night in a dingy hotel room overlooking a sewage treatment plant for $500.
The $20 I spent on my Kali registration, "just for MOO2", is the best bang-for-buck entertainment money I've ever spent. It is still providing for a good portion of my entertainment, even now, 8 YEARS LATER.
$20 nowadays will barely get you 2 hours on a golf course. Kali is a steal of an entertainment value, because it's one payment for a lifetime membership.
Having said that, though, Siron is correct, you don't have to pay for the registration in order to play. It's too bad that there's a misunderstanding about that...for some reason many people have an incorrect idea. Perhaps it's a legacy from the days when the free serial was not useable for actually playing the games.
Go get the free serial number and join us...once you're over the initial setup issues and game idiosynchrocies that come up, it's a pretty fun way to spend a few hours.
