Round 4
In another round of very close and heated voting, Spaced Cowboy was finally doomed (by the toss of a coin, no less) to end up on the other side of the wire.
That morning, preparations were supposed to continue, but something that was becoming very typical for the camp occurred. The suicidal Gamecube64, who had previously tried to vote himself to death, perhaps to protest the whole method of judgement, was found lying on the courtyard. He had been decapitated with a shovel, so DrSpike quickly ruled out suicide as a cause of death.
The escape plan was thrown together that day, and it was designed to be a very quick and not that great an escape, since the rate of attrition was getting worse than when flying on bombing runs. The number of tunnels was cut from the originally planned three (called Dick, Tom, and Harry) to just one, Dick. When everyone realised all the bad jokes this would encourage, they opted for Harry instead.
Their Planner was now dead, though. Not breaking their stride, the escapees selected Reismark to the role, with gjramsey being his secondary. You know, just in case.
Lord Nuclear, in turn, was recruited by snoopy to help him dig the tunnel. They'd need all the able-bodied men they could.
With all the corpses turning up, another form of digging had to be carried out. This helped out with the escape in a morbid way, though, since all that grave-digging allowed the prisoners to have digging tools inside the camp without arousing suspicion. They could also shift around larger amounts of ground, even in the open. The task of digging graves fell on EPW.
Sparrowhawk surprised everyone in a meeting by revealing his true identity as a member of the French resistance. He declared that he had connections inside Germany itself that would assist in the escape. Meanwhile, though, he'd concern himself with setting up an orchard on the courtyard. An orchard and the gravesite would both allow for a lot of dirt-carrying and shovel action to go under the radar.

When I read that I didn't expect to last another round but tried to deflect it by pointing out that there were no clues yet .
Funny part is I was sure EPW was the second mafia, and actually moved Mrs. Tuberski up on my kill list because of it, thinking to either keep him alive or make him look even more suspicious (as she pointed out) so when Ljube died (he was also next on my kill list ) I thought Kassiopeia had made a mistake in the method of death (the barbed wire) as I thought it was my kill
My only reason for voting for Zopperoni in the last round was that I was watching who was online and all three of us where online (rah, Zopperoni and I), Zopperoni went offline so I voted for him, but by the time I voted, Rah was offline too . I nearly fell out of my chair
I considered it strategy to keep Rah and DrSpike around late, as I think both of them are likely to join Docpiles without looking for clues, so as long as that Docpile wasn't me, they were good people to keep around.
I would like to have put Theben at the top of my list (and incidently Rah killed you, not me ), but that would have made me suspicious, and also I would have killed Ljube earlier as I thought he would see the clues. Thankfully both of them didn't start accusing me until they were dead

I couldn't have been the killer, because at one stage, I pretty much forgot I signed up for this.

If I understand correctly, in the last round both Mafias were alive? Then, the game was over a long time ago. At least after how Mafia always has been played where I learned it.
It's like this: The last round before this, there were 5 persons left, two of which were the Mafia. Now, as none of them were killed, when the night came, there were 4 persons left, soon to be three, of which two were Mafia if the Mafia that wasa to kill killed "right". At that point, the Mafia had won. As I see it, this is a fight between the Mafia(even though they are not aware of each other) and the villagers. When one of the camps are beyond resque, the game is won by the other.

Not really, the game wasn't over until the mafia kill in the round of four was made, Since if one of the mafia was the one killed the villagers could still win. (i.e if I had killed sparrow instead of ljube) So the game was over only one turn early, and then it was just left to be determined if one or both mafia would win.
