Diplomacy:
- contact with AM on their intelligence report on Antioch - sent them 40 gold accepted as a reward.
- contact with BOH on reward for AM (60 gold by BOH, 40 gold by us). Also discussed tech plan. We started on monotheism, BOH will go for gold and give us 40% of their income.
- Babs have contacted us on plan to wait with accepting feudalism to avoid devaluation for DR to research it.
Remarks
- Total War Balance: not that great at all
- Babylon is a monarchy, AM is in anarchy
- We need discussion on the following issues:
1. When to accept feudalism.
wait: research effort is considerably higher for DR
asap: we could upgrade our swordsmen to MI's, which are equally strong to immortals and our spearmen to pikemen.
2. Thoughts on techplan with BOH. I would like to see some more activities on marketing our own techs. Other nations are more keen on closing deals. We are less active and therefore miss out.
3. When do we start a revolution.
4. Thoughts on the quick deal I closed on the intel from AM considering Antioch.
5. Next city location. I propose we settle at the river SW, or on the hill at the sea NE from AbbA.
6. What will be the focus for the city builds? I'm doing a little improvement/ expand round at the moment. The war with DR, however, seems to take a little longer. The effects of their GA seems to be quite severe. otoh, the other nations seem to be ahead in growth numbers.

Babs will send feudalism. They have however suggested we shouldn't send it to BoH yet, at least they'd rather we didn't (altho they'll send it to us regardless, i believe).
I'm not sure i want to go that far ... BoH still thinks they're trying to be good allies, just their definition is ... different than ours.
McM, when you chat with paddy, if you can, please bring up that antioch is + in their favor ... with Klo, we figured about a 160-150 advantage at least total defensive points, and that's assuming identical swords-spear numbers, which I believe is incorrect (more swords than spears if i recall). My opinion frankly is they are being cowardly and overly risk-averse; we bought them this chance to end DR's war (or seriously hamper it) for little serious risk, and they're throwing it away with little more than a nod our way - and adding on top of that personal and direct insults to both of us and babylon.
