BOH has started attacking Euphorica. With DR helping them, Euphorica is pretty much dead, and we can't get to the area in time.

While I do not wish to abandon Euphorica, I do not see another option. We do not have the forces to help them even if they were in the right position. About all we can do is send Feud and hope.

I believe we will have to see Euphorica die. But I would like a long-term policy of wiping out BOH in revenge. (DR is another matter, they were attacked first and had no alliance; I'm quite happy to switch allegiances and cooperate with them so long as they stay out of our way with regards to BOH.)

I'm not saying attack now, I'm saying attack much further down the road. Perhaps when we've allied again, their military is away, and we can pull the same sort of stunt they did just now...

1. What do you feel are our obligations to Euphorica that must be followed through?

2. What do you feel are our obligations to BOH that must be followed through?

1. I think we must stick by their side as much as we can at the moment. That means giving them Feud, not supporting their attackers, etc.

Should they fall, I don't think seeking long-term revenge on BOH is an obligation; it's simply something I want to do.

2. None whatsoever. But even if we agree on that, I suggest we not say so to them just yet till we figure out how we want to play this. Diplomatic silence on our stance is the way to go considering we have no stance at the moment.

1 - Euphorica
They know we don't have any real troops in the area. We send the Fuedalism.

2 - BOH
We send Fuedalism. Ask for AM recon. Publically B1tch slap them for this terrible display and war. If we ever plan to re-align and betray them then we need to stay somewhat friendly.

3 - DR
Look for peace. Explain the mess - if they did not already get copied from the Lost Boys.

Someone NEEDS to get word to Eu. Something like...

"OH! this is terrible. Wish we could help. Damn the Horde! Here's Fuedalism. Enjoy."

We also need a public statement.
"Bad bad Horde. Who's next? Is there no end to your bloodlust. Babylon seeks peace with all nations, especially between the brotherhood on the former alliance. "

I'm reading the Betrayl at Metallica thread. Screw them both. It was indeed a 2NA. We were an after thought - probably just a way to get techs.

Read Krill's (AM) statement through all the events. He seems to be in support of BOH. He called us out in the cease fire thread. He points outs that BOH did not actually break the ROP with Eu.

I wonder if AM is to be trusted.

I think that we, the Babylonian nation, should let the Horde fight it out with Euphorica. Since it seems like the Horde is going to run over their measly defenses, and it appears that we can do nothing to help them, we should let that war take its course, and declare our neutrality in that conflict.

While the Horde and Euphorica are in conflict, we can begin building our defenses, and negotiate with Desolation Row. Following this course of action, I believe, will prepare us for, in my opinion, the eventual Horde attack.

P.S: I believe that we should honor our scientific agreements, except we should delay one or two turns, and feign ignorance, or something else, so we can see how this war between the Horde and Euphorica plays out.

Oh, and by the way skrobism, I agree with your opinion on Krill and AM. Their does seem to be a very noticeable pro-Horde bias in his comments. This is all the more reason for us to begin preparing ourselves for an impending war with the Horde, and possibly AM .

I don't think there was much talk on that. (link) First Babylonian god we found I guess. That and Inanna/Ishtar is often topless. She is the goddess of love and war - know to be very fickle. Maybe this allows us to back up of alliances at will. Maybe BOH should be alerted to her. It seems appropriate.

Chrisius Maximus' post gives me all the more reason to believe that we are next on the Horde's hit list. Ah well, I guess there is only so much we can do then . It seems like the Horde has the favor of Nergal for now. Looks like all we can do is hope for the best, and try to delay the impending attack as long as possible.
