If you look at their first innings scorecard it's very lucky for Australia he did manage to get that 90. They'd have been in awful trouble. As it is I think they can bat out the day and get a draw.

Looks like Australia might have to rely on Warne/Gillespie again to play out the day. Is Gillespie the only one in the Aussie line up capable of playing properly defensive? Katich f.ex. should've never played at that ball.

australia just about hung on, thanks to some real grit, a fine knock from the captain and a bit of luck. not the best day for england but in any case, what an entertaining and thrilling game of cricket
