The 4way could become interesting if I respond to Horse's serious provocations, I have generously allowed him all the space to the north of my capital as I had enough space to the South, but he has abused my generosity by building cities whose boundaries overlap with my cities including one so close to my capital, it overlaps with my capitals boundaries. If he dares to make use of any of those overlapping squares, the city will not remain his!!!

The game really has dawdled in the last couple of sessions. I don't know why. The civs aren't gigantic, there's no war, and there would have to be dozens of caravans out to justify the time taken. Maybe try the timer for a session to see who's bothered by it.

he's well ahead so pretty damn fast. I'm playing catch up, the ai civs only have about 3 cities each now. Russians are gone.
