Well at least my WMD treaty is generic enough to change AM to LB and Eu.

I seem to remember someone telling me that Lies in a PBEM were bad very bad. I agreed to play an honest game. When I was told this were you playing with the same group of people?

I say we gift Fuedalism to everyone next turn. BOH has it now.

At least we have that Babylonian PBEM.

Depends on whether 1889 was in on this or actually sincere. If the latter, the LB are allies as well still.

Hmmm Right royal betrayal on two fronts.

OTOH we may have two allies.

However can someone give an assessment of our prospects. I can understand people being p***ed off, I was, in a previous demo game.
I can't ever see us working with AM (particulary Krill again) or BOH again.

In the meantime we need to see if thru intermediaries we can get the Horde to back off.

Basically, we are screwed, because we have almost everything off working on the Barbs, with lots of rivers between them and Center of Thrust.

We can settle the Iron this very turn, but only can upgrade 4 units (2 warriors in IT, 1 Warriors in Babylon & 1 Pike in Potamia) before we lose the Iron again.

It doesn't look good.

There appears to be no available counterbalance to the Horde attack force. We were hoping that MPPs with A-M and Lost Boys would have caused the Horde some pause -- giving us valuable time to connect up the new iron city and strengthen our military.

There is no other military force out there that will stop the Horde from completely destroying Babylon if that is their intent. Eu is too decimiated fighting for it's own survival. I don't know about the Lost Boys and what their thinking is - if I was them, I wouldn't even be considering a plan that would allign with Babylon.

I believe the only thing we can hope for is treachery from DR against the Horde. That would cause an immediate recall of most (all) of the Horde force. Chances for that seem slim at the moment.

Doubtful, DR that is.

I would assume that they gave BoH the gold for the Embassy and Stealing Feudalism from us (very expensive), as BoH immediately gave it to DR. DR is likely working on Chiv right now, with GA, so it won't be long now before they (DR & BoH) get it.

Yes - this sucks all round.

I was thinking of posting a thread in the public forum - called "Of Scumbag Nations" - and post the MPP and the tech deal agreed to. But I suspect everyone knows this anyway - so it will all just look like sour grapes on our part. Maybe silence is the best approach here.

But i gotta tell you. I am surprised by the level of out-of-game treachery. And I am very pi$$ed at Krill and AM. Those of you who knwo me from the first PTWDG will realize that I was not above some smoke and mirrors and unnanounced attacks. But not to thhe extent that I have seen from BOH, and now AM. I would suspect that the players on both those teams had better make hay in this game - because you can be guaranteed that no one will trust them in the future.

There - just doing some venting. Thanks for listening.
