Yes, it's true, Timex. In the service of pushing back Canadian uppityness, no sacrifice is too great. Not even lending your name to an island.

In fact, it's another good point in support of our claim. It's called Hans Ø, not Wayne or Gaston Island or what have you. Many Canadians couldn't even pronounce it properly if they had it, "Hans" in French would be "êà" or something along those lines. To say nothing of how any Canadian would go about pronouncing "Ø".
