	Eve of Destruction - Battle Statistics Got spare money?

I have compiled a record of battle statistics, and will maintain this as the Battle Reports thread is updated (assuming there is any interest). This of course relies upon full disclosures of battles in the Battle Reports thread, so please keep up the good work

Statistics include only lethal battles, and do not take into account bombardment or fast mover retreats. I have included Worker captures for the moment, but am considering removing this since if a Worker is recaptured then the shield loss is only temporary.

Oh, and ormuzd and Krill posting the same battle only counts once

Team-Specific Statistics

Lots of stuff that can be posted here, but just a few juicy tidbits for now. Until a lot more battles are fought, the team-specific stats are rather spurious:

Unit Kills:
Desolation Row: 30
Ankh-Morpork: 29

Babylon: 14
BOH: 11
Lost Boy: 1

Unit Losses:
Babylon: 30

Desolation Row: 19
Ankh-Morpork: 17

Shield Losses:

Best Offensive Record: Lost Boy - 100% (1 battle only)

Worst Offensive Record: Babylon - 50%

Worst Defensive Record: Lost Boy - 0% (1 battle only)

(Calculated as percentage of battles won/lost offensively/defensively, and excluding teams who have not fought a defensive/offensive battle to date)

The Horde currently hold only 1 slave. The workers captured from AM has been returned long time ago. (Part of the peace treaty. May possibly be viewed as "slave trade" )

You know, if you had attacked one turn later, I would not have given a damn about getting those workers back in the peace treaty. We would have chopped that jungle, and with the Bananas and Fish, it would have been the work of a moment to create a four turn settler pump.

Yes, but in the context of a percentage of successful offensive battles, you are both tied at 100%. As I said, until there are many more battles fought the stats may be a little spurious and this is a good example.

As for "converted food".....are you talking about the pop cost associate with rushing units (ie, additional pop being essentially an accumulation of food surplus)? If not, what precisely are you talking about?

So, DR have fought the most battles. Even more than the Horde. I think we should rethink who is the most dangerous team at this time point

We have captured Babylonian workers, and they cost both food nd shields to produce. So we have in effect taken both shields, and food from babylon. All you have counted is "Shields lost", but you should include food in that count as well (say 1 food = 1 shield)

Yes, DR has fought the most battles because we were forced to defend ourselves

More to the point, as you say "even more than the Horde". Indeed, many people would be surprised how few battles the Horde have actually fought despite their aggressive posturing and war declarations. Now that tells us something

My apologise for playing the save late. There is no battle report for this turn.

Well, having been involved in 2 wars, and coming through both with nothing more than a view scrapes, I am suprised that we rank so highly.

And our offensive stat is the flukiest I have ever seen...
