	SMAC & AX on the Mac Suffering from ads?

Hello y'all.

I've been through the FAQ thread and the compatability threads. They helped me to finally get Alien Crossfire running on my machine with XP Pro. This has been something I've been poking around with for a LONG time (until I found this forum I just gave up and had a back up computer running Win 98 and a switchbox)

So, that's one Quest accomplished, now on to the next, and hopefully y'all can help steer me in the right direction.

I picked up a used Mac laptop awhile ago and I've been hunting for AC and AX for the Mac and I've had zero luck finding it. Ideas? Suggestions? Thoughts?

Am I totally screwed here?

Saw the SMAC on Amazon awhile ago...it still isn't available.

SMAX on ebay? I've been checking from time to time on that as well. No dice.

Well, it does have OS X (I think 10.2, something like that)

Hmmm...you know, I never have just stuck the disks in the Mac to see what would happen.

I just automatically assumed it wouldn't work, or that it'd melt, turn green, blow up, or something. I'll give that a try.

Hmmm....I apparently suck at Boolian searches.

(probably almost as bad as I suck at spelling Boolian searches )
