For those who don't it is a tv show about the Iraq war. The article I read compared some scenes of it to Band of Brothers or Private Ryan......

It just debuted last night which is why there's probably not many comments.

I wouldn't say it was bad, but I certainly wasn't hooked. I'll watch it next week and see if it gets better. If not, I'd likely put it in the "take it or leave it" category.

Overall, the emphasis seemed to be - war sucks, but at least you've got someone watching your back. It's brutal, it's dirty, it's raw. People get killed, people get maimed. People miss their families while at war. Well no **** right?

Episode 2 is going to need to work on some serious character development IMO. The characters will make or break the show, not the action sequences (which seem very predictable).

Strange the article I read gave me the impression that it was running for a while....they mentioned stuff from several episodes....but maybe the press guys had the chance to watch them before the official tv debut
