r downward, seems to me, after some inspection, to hold an equally effective possbility of self inflicted death than a lateral slice, plus the advantage being that an unsecessful attempt would be less likely to lead to debilitation which of course threatens the integrity of the indivual's purposes.

Medical opinions appreciated.

Slicing vertically down the length of a vien/aterty will cause you to bleed quite profusely - far more so that dissecting it.

However, if you simply scratch the inside of your arm with a sharp object, you won't die. Depends how quickly your blood clots obviously, but its very difficult to bleed to death quick enough unless its deep and/or hits a major blood vessel.

If you are going to die, choose something more reliable and less messy.

But after Faded Glory's little stunt (actually I felt this way before his stunt), I can't believe it when people say things like this for attention.

Frankly, it's ****ing stupid. Your life isn't as bad as mine, so you shouldn't kill yourself. I don't want to hear anymore about it.

P.S. If on the off chance you do think your life is as bad as mine, be glad you are not in Iraq, or a starving kid in Africa.

There's people in the world who've had to bury their family, their children after watching them starve to death in agony and yet you don't see them trying to top themselves.

You have food on your table, you have any idea how lucky you are? What makes you think that your life is so unbearable that you want to end it?

We've all been there, but I think it's just pathetic to see people turn themselves into walking jokes, so sort yourself out.
