It might be helpful to configure the web server on boa.apolyton.net to set the following header for all images:

max-age = some large number - perhaps 2592000 (30 days)

The site should render faster and you should also see a slight drop in your server load.

You call me a spammer? Honestly Ming, I just stated that if I understand the question right, I'm against it. I fail to see how that's spamming?

You contributed to the thread having no idea what it was about.

What the suggestion was is for the server to instruct the browser to keep a copy of all images it downloads from Apolyton for 30 days. After that time, the browser would ask the server for a new version. This is as opposed to downloading the same image every time a new thread is opened.

I contributed to this thread thinking I knew it, but said clearly I was not sure. I do not look kindly upon being called a spammer, not from you, not from Ming, not from anybody, without it having a good reason! I can not think of anything that piss me off as much as being unfairly treated, is that clear? Now, if I was called a spammer and the accusation was correct, it would be one thing. This, is something completely different.

there isnt such a possibility in the httpd used for boa
