	Calgary/Edmonton Poly Meet? Got spare money?

Potential dates are:

Saturday, October 15th (Calgary)
Thursday, October 20th (Calgary)
Friday, November 25th (Calgary)
Monday, December 19th (Edmonton)
Saturday, December 31st (Calgary) *cough*
Monday, January 23rd (Edmonton)
Thursday, March 16th (Edmonton)
Saturday, April 1st (Edmonton)

The reason for the dates above should be obvious.

Who is in? I am available to go to either city (can drive), but weekends obviously work best for that. I can also take anyone from Calgary with me if the meet is in Edmonton, as long as you don't mind sharing my car with me for the ride.

I can also ping Zylka and see if he's up for attending.

For those not geographically inclined, I have attached a map. Draw your attention to the top left of the map.

The visit will also include immersion in Canadian culture for one night, involving a pub/bar and a hockey game. Not just any hockey game, but a Battle of Alberta hockey game. Blood will be spilled!

Depends on the date of the meet. I might be able to get away at New Year's but not during the school year.

I have quite a few friends now that reside in Calgary, so that could be an interesting trip.

I'll be in Canada visit in late March so I'm going to try to see the Vancouver-Edmonton game. Should be great now that Edmonton has a decent team. Then in Toronto, I'll try to see a Leafs game, probably against Buffalo.

There are still some international connections direct from Edmonton.

I would suppose they nearly have to pay people to occupy the seats on the way here to pick up a plane load to take there.

Edmonton dates-- a bit more iffy depending on work/family commitments although I'll make it if provost harrison does


NOTE-- I saw in the paper TODAY cheap flights for Air Canada-- One way it was only like 229 from Halifax to Calgary
