I am putting this up to sound out the feelings of everyone on how things are going. This isn't about the map. It is about the team.

Can't really say anything is wrong. As for participation, I'm at a comfortable level, letting those more knowledgeable than I run the ship. (Though you know, I have been known to submit my fair share of 'objective' articles to newletters here and there.)

The team is doing great. However, I would like to see more participation from as many as possible, and I think I know how we can increase participation, even from the lurkers.

There is a designed loophole in our constution. Polls, except for Consulor elections, are NEVER binding. They are mearly suggestions put forth by the population of the team. If polls were put out more frequently, I think we would get a higher rate of active participation (this poll is a perfect example). Lurkers don't post, but they generally do vote. That increases participation, and input, from the team, even the lurkers.

Seems like things are running smoothly so far. I think participation will pick up once we get out of the early doldrums. There just isn't that much to do right now.

I think the team is running smoothly. I haven't got any complaints, though I do think it wouldn't hurt to poll decisions a little more frequently, which isn't a big concern for me as long as we're able to reach suitable concensus during regular discussion.

Of course, this is only the beginning of the game. I expect things will go to hell closer to the end.

I was frozen in carbonite since the last PTW ISDG until the time our great nation would feel the need to conduct diplomacy and have someone insane enough to do it.

I'm still thawing but I can more or less see clearly now

I could participate more. But I'm doing fine in fact. My activity is increasing. A few months ago is was absolutely zero and now I try to stay updated and see what's going on in the team.

Keep the screenshots after every turn has been played, they are the best way to get an idea of what is going on. I often don't have time, a computer or the cd to open saves. They're more for the record. Screenshots give me a good impression to use when participating in debates.
