	Gif images Avatars Tired of ads?

This is probibly something that you all have hear until your eyes bleed, but how do you get your Avatar to be something that is not featured in Apolyon, specifically a gif or animated image.

I've seen others with it, but cant seem to figure out how to do it myself. Thank you all.

You have to have either 300 or 500 posts, I forget which.

So go spam up the Other Games forum make many intelligent, on-topic posts.

500 on-topic posts. Spam tends to decrease your current levels of posts too.

Surprisingly, 500 posts does not take that long to get, even if you happen to post infrequently (as I did when I first joined).

Start contributing to the site discussions and you'll have 500 in no time. It's not worth spamming up to 500 just to get an avatar, because there's always a new target. The current target is more affectionately known as Paddy the Scot.

Have no fears there I am a HUGE Civer after I first bought Civ3 Vanilla a year or two ago... I've since upgraded to Complete and I am drooling beyond control over Civ4 (as many of us are).

The major reason I posted this up here was because I have been an Apolytoner for a year or more but never found out how, and now that I changed my name from my old sn to this one I wanted to beef it up.... although it looks like I just have to beef up my Post Count then!

Yeah, and he'll probably tack your old postcount on (or roll the new in to the old if he deletes your current one) so definitely do so.

Actually this one looks legit . I checked the previous posts of both him and his DL "theDragon" and none of the posts are in the Apolyton/Community Forum, so it is possible he is not familiar with the contest.
