Yes, I remember
Many years ago, the NSU cars were present in Europe, with different models : printz, RO80...
Citroen tries an experimental model (a little serie),
but they never produce a commercial one...

Re; The Civ4 event engine, I've heard a lot of positive things about it but I'm going to wait until its out, reviewed, debugged, patched and there's an Sleague guide with tips, tricks, and hints before even considering getting Civ4.

Lessons learned from overenthusiasm looking forward to Civ3 ...

A radial engine is a conventional reciprocating engine like a straight-four or V12, where the pistons move up and down in a cylinder and are connected to a crank-shaft by con-rods. The aero-engine radials had their cylinders arranged in a circular fashion around the crank which rotated the propeller, and were air-cooled rather than water-cooled as in a conventional straight-four.

The W ankel or rotary engine is a radically different concept; the triangular-shaped 'piston' or rotor itself rotates in the 'cylinder' and translates power directly without the need for con-rods.

Well you did ask. I'll shut up now

I imagine I'm now the proud owner of the same blank expression that I saw on most of my students faces after trying to explain general relativity.
