	Your choice of graphics? Support Apolyton

When playing Civ2 as a standard game (no scenario), what graphics do you use?

I'm very fussy on the aesthetics of my graphics - everything must correspond in a unified style.

So post your default units.gif, cities.gif, icons.gif, etc.

I am a traditionalist...

So I like to stay with the pure version of CIV MGE, all the original graphics, etc.

But when it comes to ToT, I use a mix of fairline/catfish units and terrain...!

Oh curtsibling, that's a shame... I was banking that you, of all members, would have had some personalised graphics pack that we could have all shared

ToT is most certainly worth buying, and will run on any of the new PCs...

I can run it fine on my P4 3.2...

Better graphics, more events, more modding options...Works for me!

I've added a couple of units and gathered a couple of units from here and there, but only started this a couple of months ago, so it's not complete. The terrains were compiled from a couple of sources, and on my other machine i've tweaked the rivers a bit (more, since the ones have had the coastlines removed). The icons I got a long time ago, and haven't bothered to change them, and no new cities (though I should get some smilie and / or curt ones, but I'm lazy...)

There are, but don't let that be the reason you buy it - they are possibly the worst-excecuted game animations of all time

Fortunately you can replace the nasty stock graphics with either MGE static units (or 15-bit versions of them) or, if you are feeling very adventurous, use Mercator's utilities to edit reduced-animation versions of the sprites themselves.

There are planty of good reasons to buy it though Varwnos: increased events space, impassible terrain flags, improved events macros, 15-bit gfx, unique-unit flags and multiple maps being amongst them.

Curt, how do you get civ2 to run on your computer? Mine doesnt run it at all, unless it should only be civ2mg (i have fw)

I only use MGE...

Is you FW version fully legit and patched?

Many MGE scens will not work with FW...
