Hello folks. Back from hiking in the Rockies. Wonderful vacation. Hard to get my head back into civ.

Dark days for Babylon, indeed. I agree 100% with the plan to try and create tension between AM and BOH, and skro has kicked that off wonderfully. However, it would seem our real salvation is Desolation Row. E_T's note to Aqua may have been a key first step. I am thinking that the alliance that needs to be formed is Euphorica-DR-Lost Boys-Babylon. Given where BOH is right now, that is probably a fairly even fight - if BOH and AM are close as we expect they are.

I am suggesting that we construct a letter to the other 3 civs to see if they will band together to take out BOH, and hopefully AM. If we survive, we cannot come out of it any worse than the AM-vassal deal. In fact - and as has been pointed out - the vassal deal gives us a great opportunity to stick it to AM.

So - are folks on side with such a plan. I do not tryst BOH or AM. BOH's m.o. to-date would be to take a few cities to weaken us, and then back off. But they have AM doing their work for them now (doesn't this sound familiar), so they are probably content to sit back and gow their military. From that perspectivem they have played the game brilliantly so far. It is only our (ie the other teams) inability to ally against them that allows them to do this. Hence the alliance suggestion.

I am pretty sure we can trust 1889 and Euphorica. The question mark is Aqua nd DR, but surely they must see that this is in their best interests as well.

I am trying to set up a talk with RubyChaser of BOH for tonight.

Based on BOH's lead, I want to make nice and continue to reveal AM's plans. If BOH just continues to threaten - well I'll threaten back.

AM - They offered a treaty but have we accepted? Do we offer them our 'guaranteed' support in this?

LB - What will 1889 think of all this? I'd like to stay on the Lost Boy's good side.

We could really play this up if we had buy in from LB and Eu. We stage a break with them. Maybe 1889 removes us from his team. We make nice with BOH in what they think is secret. We openly become a vassal state to AM.

Our true loyalty should be with Eu and LB, but we might need to speak out against them in the open forum in order to feed BOH with AM info.

But first let's see how tonight goes.

Skro - I am liking your plan here. We could have 1889 kick us out of the forum. If we could get DR on-side we could have them rattle a few swords as well. And if it was organized well with the other allied civs, we could do some serious damage.
