Roth and others who feel insulted, please, I'd really like to know how, for instance, I insulted anyone of you. If you tell me that I may be able to understand why you feel so bad and what I should do in the future to avoid insulting you any further.

My apologies to Ljube and Plato. I suppose I shouldn't have included the entire Horde in my little rant earlier. My post wasn't aimed at either of you, so I'm sorry if you thought it was. My post was about expressing my disgust at the amount of flaming that has gone on in the game, and at one member's scoffing of other's opinions about the flaming.

I'm just tired of getting on Poly or MZO and reading some new flaming by someone. I'm just starting to come to the realization that it's not worth my time to bother to read the next person's flame.

Hmmm Roth it would appear then that in your view I somehow am to blame for all of this, or at least it seems so to me.

Ill not worry too much about that as i cant be sure because you actually have not been all that direct have you.

If I am your intended target of your recent posts then explain what it is you believe ive done wrong !

I am not scoffing at anyone or any thing ! I am though very sick and very tired of the continued personal attacks aimed at PLATO and decided to speak out, now if you and others prefer to now level your flames at me instead of PLATO then at least i will have accomplished getting a friend of mine a reprieve from the crap that has been flung at him in this thread !

Please feel free to blame me for all and anything you want to I have broad shoulders and i can take it, many of you out there in this game who enjoy piping up now and then with yet more firewood for the fire should learn some valuable lessons from all this.

PLATO and Ljube are both good friends of mine and any individual who would seek to cause them harm would have to expect to go through me first.

Ive stayed quiet for a good length of time on this stuff but last night was too much for me and I have come out and I have stood up to you people in defence of a friend, now if you like im telling you all to back off and leave PLATO alone, hes done nothing wrong NOTHING !!! hes done some roleplay and some of you have been on the wrong end of Horde diplomacy in a GAME !!!

Is this how some of you people behave in your real life when you dont like something or someone ? do you form little cliques with your mates to deride some poor fella ? like you do here at Apolyton ?

If any of you think Im wrong then prove it, show the evidence for you petty statements. Otherwise shut up and leave people alone please !

Great! simple solution - you, Plato and Ljube can start a thread marked "Role Playing" and you can slag each other off to your hearts content, whilst we get on with the game.

Neither of you have understood the earlier point:

Whatever it is you are doing: being yourself, playing a role, etc etc - you are still upsetting, offending and belittling other people, and you simply HAVE to STOP doing that. So stop, or start a thread as I suggest above.

Role playing is NOT about offending people and causing hurt. stop it, please.

Moon sorry, so you are suggesting that I post here no more because my posts are offensive. Isn't that a radical solution to the problem?

I don't like to insult people and I would like to change the style of my posts to achieve this, but the problem is I don't understand how I insulted these people in the first place. I would appreciate if you, Klo, or anybody else who feels my posts are offensive would tell me what I did wrong and how to change it so all of us could start to enjoy this game once again.

Makes 36 cookies

Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups coarsely chopped chocolate-covered toffee bars





1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter and chocolate in large saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat; cool slightly.

2. Stir sugar into chocolate mixture until smooth. Stir in eggs until well blended. Stir in vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour and salt just until blended. Fold in chopped toffee bars.

3. Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of dough 1-1/2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

4. Bake 12 minutes or until just set. Let cookies stand on cookie sheets 5 minutes; transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Store in airtight container.

I think there would have to be some recognision from the "role players" that being rude and insulting is still rude and insulting to the adressee weather they are role playing or not..
