	Whats with all of the popups? Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

I have logged into apolyton from two different locations the past few days and I get a lot of javascript popups everytime i switch pages. Is this some sort of attempt to get me to sign up for apolyton plus?!

Hmm, on the laptop I usually browse Apolyton (which allows ads on Apolyton) I get few ads. But now I'm browsing with a computer that blocks the ads, and I get flooded with two of them on every page I open.

By the lack of response from the owners, I guess this is an attempt to "encourage" more people to sign up for Plus. The popups are really bad today..

A bad assumption and a totally unfair comment to make ... The owners have shown a STRONG willingness in the past to get rid of the real obnoxious pop ups. Dan and Markos just haven't seen this thread yet.

The ones I usually get are adds for entrepenuer.com and something about taking a pepsi taste test..

IIRC they wuill want the URL of the adds to heklp them identify and block the culprit. It might be useful posting that before they see this thread.

I believe I have not only eliminated this one, but others like it from appearing in the future (*crosses fingers*). However, in using this URL (address) I am not entirely certain of its source as it directs me at least to some "zero.gif" file.

If you see it again, or something similar, please post not only the URL (address) it leads to all but also a screenshot of the ad itself.

Thanks to everyone for bringing these types of ads to our attention. Even if in the end they turn out to not being served by an advertising agency we have affiliated with, we want to get to the source of the problem. We aim to kill these... obstructions on sight or report.

I believe I have eliminated not only the first ad mentioned, but any others of its kind from that advertising agency (one different than the one I "targetted" earlier).
