Population 110000 - 1st. (from 2nd to 1st).
Population Ranking as follow :
1st - Poly (Pop 4, +5 food),
2nd to 5th
BAT (Pop from 3 to 4 this turn. Built Granary last turn. Likely to be at +4 Food)
PAL (Pop from 3 to 4 this turn. Built Granary last turn. +5 food)
CDZ (Pop 3, +5 food. Built 2nd city in 3150BC)
CBR (Pop from 2 to 3, +5 food, Founded 2nd City in 3100BC)
6th - CGN (Pop from 4 to 3, produced Settler this turn. they are at +6, +7, +7 food, growth every 3 turns)
Analysis (for PAL) as follow :

GNP 10m = 3rd. (GNP flat, position dropped from 2nd to 3rd)
This turn order. >10, >10, 10 (Poly), 9, 8, 8
Last turn order. >10, 10 (Poly), 10, 10, 8, 6
Well, BAT, PAL, CBR all saw population increase, CGN produced Settler, we did not improve, hence our position dropped.
Mfg Goods 6megatons - 5th (Mfg flat, position dropped from 2nd to 5th)
This turn order. 8, 8, 8, 7, 6 (Poly), 6
Last turn order. 8, 6 (Poly), 6, 6, 5, 4
Same comment as GNP. This is also partly a result of our decision to use tile 4 (roaded river grassland) instead of tile 10 (Bonus but unroaded River Grassland) to speed up tech research.
Productivity 21 = 3rd. (Productivity flat, position improved from 4th to 3rd)
This turn order. >21, >21, 21 (Poly), 21, 19, 18
Last turn order. >21, >21, >21, 21 (Poly), 19, 12
The top 2 teams are CDZ and CBR. CGN which was in the top 3 last turn, produced a settler this turn and hence their position dropped. PAL and BAT, while growing their population, were still behind us in productivity.
CBR Intelligence
Below is my assessment of CBR capital - Laranja Verde, the population growth, production etc, with comparison against Apolytion as reference :
1. CBR found Laranja Verde in 4000BC. From 4000BC to 3500BC, LV (Louis Vuitton ) produced 3 Warriors and grew at +4 Food per turn.
2. From 3500BC to 3200BC, LV produced Settler. It's still at +4 Food per turn.
3. From 3250BC to 3050BC (Current), LV seem to have improved to +5 Food per turn !
4. We do not know what LV is producing in the last 3 turns, could be extra Warrior. If so, CBR will have max 4 Warriors. CBR cannot have 5 Warriors or their F2 Military Strength will be average to us.
Poly on the other hand produced Worker, EW, EW, EW, EW and now Granary. It had been at +5 Food since 3750BC.

Military Svcs - 1st, (from 2nd to 1st)
Since we are first, the max number of Warriors the other teams can have are :
CDZ - 4, BAT - 3 (would have been 4, but they just produced a Granary last turn), CGN - 3, CBR - 4, Poly - 4 E Warriors, PAL - 3 (same as BAT).
Technology
No change. CBR has Alphabet, CB. We can sell them Bronze Working.

Strange things with stats.
Invictus dropped to 3 pop and we went to 1st in pop, BUT CGN score grew past us, and if someone had 5 pop last turn (we were 2nd in pop) does that mean CGN got a free settler or city?. :hmm: |
Like what ormuzd said, the average score is as per end of last turn, not current turn. To give an example, in 4000BC, we found our capital. All the scores in F11 screen were updated and we were first in many of them. However, the average score remained zero.
CGN became Pop 4 in 3200BC, Poly one turn later in 3100BC. We were 2nd behind them for 2 turns. It's not surprising that we fall behind in average score. In fact, we will fall further behind once CGN founded City #2.

To be honest, however, I still do not understand the formula behind average score. I tried a few test last night, but nothing seem to work. If anybody knows how the average score formula works, please let me know.

BTW, what the stats can tell us about luxuries? |
Akryll, the formlua for Annual income is : Annual Income: The number of connected strategic/luxury resource types in your territory. The minimum value is 1 and you get a +1 bonus for your first trade route with another civ. Thanks DaveMcW. Since no team i think has roaded to another civ, everybody should still be at 1.
Aro, good question ! A challenging one too that warrants some testing ! Why do I say so ? Think of the games you play, when you have a Luxury connected, wouldn't you want to adjust your luxury rate downwards to maximise gpd ?
Specifically, in this Emperor level game, Pop 2 would result in an unhappy labor. When there was no luxury, Poly used a E Warrior as garrison. Happiness = 50%. If there was luxury, the luxury team would not use a garrison, Happiness would still = 50%. Similarly, at Pop 3, Poly used 1 Garrison + 10% luxury tax to get Happiness = 50%. The team with the luxury would simply used 1 garrison to get Happiness = 50%.
So, in what circumstance would the team ended up with Happiness more than 50% ? Answer : when the team had more than 1 city ! When a team had a Pop 3 and a Pop 1 city, happiness would be 62%, because there were 2 happy labor + 1 unhappy labor. We found that our happiness index dropped to 2nd in 3150BC. There is only one team who has founded a 2nd city then >>>> CDZ. CDZ is the team who has linked a luxury resource.
We however cannot rule out if CGN, PAL, BAT have linked luxury resource because they can manage their garrison and luxury tax to get to exactly 50% happiness. CBR does not have resource linked though.
Edited : Further testing proves that the above assessment is NOT CONCLUSIVE.

no the formula got to be:
Annual Income:1+ The number of connected strategic/luxury resource types in your territory. The minimum value is 1 and you get a +1 bonus for your first trade route with another civ.
i just looked at some screenshots from a DG on GWT and they definitely support my formular...at least for the first luxury
just try it yourself
so nobody has connected a luxury or ressource yet...

We have around a 31% chance of losing, if all 3 attack us

In 10000 trials, with 3 units, the Attacker had 223 promotions; while among the 1 Defenders, during 10000 trials, there were 690 promotions, with 18 being Elite.
When victorious, an average of 0.67 Attackers still had available attacks.

And if only 2 attack us, about 16% chance of losing, with

In 10000 trials, with 2 units, the Attacker had 100 promotions; while among the 1 Defenders, during 10000 trials, there were 565 promotions, with 5 being Elite.
When victorious, an average of 0.3 Attackers still had available attacks.

And if only 1 attacks us, about 5% chance of losing, with

So, we have the superior defence and have a fairly good chance of getting promoted, especially if all 3 attack.
On the other hand, if we had a standard warrior there, it would be from 67% loss from 3 attacks, to 44% loss with 2 attacking
19% loss with just one attacking. So be very glad that we have our great UU...
And being on the hills, definately helps... I'm not worried at all.

have you calculated that they are barbarians on emperor lvl?
and I do not realy understand your quotes...if we are attacked by two and win both fights we are automaticly promoted and when we win a 3rd we are elite!
though there is of course the chance of being promoted for the first fight and then we will become elite with the second...
2 wins in 1 turn are 100% promotion, 3 wins are 2 promotions...

hmm there is no option to show the attacker is barbarian, is there?
i don't know how many % but on emperor the barbarians have a better chance of winning...

Yup. It'll either happen like this:

hmm i thought if you are promoted after the first fight then you get a second promotion after the second fight but as i usually build barracks before building units i'm not quite sure about the second promotion...
back to the annual income formular:
it seems it is not that easy!
I do not know how the formular could be: what I know for sure is that neither rush's nor mine are correct...
This will need some testing, it might be that cities not connected to the capital count as -1 but this is still speculation...
though i'm quite sure that when you only have a capital and a connected luxury you are at annual income=2
