What's Google gonna do with $8 billion? Inflate your Upload Space

Google just announced a secondary stock offering of $4 billion, which will bring its cash horde to some $8 billion. My question is pretty simple. What the hell is Google planning to do with $8 billion?

The Google Grid is a possibility. They could pick back up the Teledesic project -- the global grid of high speed internet satellites. This project still makes sense.

$8 billion says instrastructure to me.

I feel kind of silly.

I knew when their IPO was coming. But I never even considered buying google stock. I figured it would be over valued. But it has went up significantly from it's already high IPO Price.

I should have bought some google stock.

for that matter I should have bought some amazon.com stock in the 90's. hindight is always 20/20 as they say.
