	*sigh*...CD Cleaning Tired of ads?

Well, I'm in the process of cleaning and trying to get rid of my old stuff...which never works well with me...and I've been going through my software CDs. I've been through them before, but I still had about 10 years of software hanging around. I didn't have a problem getting rid of most of the old versions of software (though the realization that I had many thousands of dollars invested in shiny coasters was painful) but I'm having a lot of trouble getting rid of the games. Even though I know most of them wouldn't even work without a lot hacking around with old drivers, etc.

Sorry, empathy thread.

A few I'm keeping (like civ and moo) but most of these should probably go...

Nah, like I said, I'm definitely keeping the Civ stuff and Moo stuff (though I can't imagine CivNet would run...or that I could find anybody to play with if it did.) I haven't really decided on the rest of it.

Though, anybody who wants Outpost is welcome to it. I'm keeping the manual, though, that was by far the best part of the game...

some of you guys buy a lot of games. I only buy 2 or 3 games a year. Tops.

I should get rid of some of my old games that were a mistake. But I doubt anyone wants them. I want to get rid of SimGolf, CTP2, Black and White, Everquest 2, and World of Warcraft.

I have some games I bought in 1995 that I'd really like to get rid of. I made some stupid game purchases after I bought my first PC. Games like Nascar racing, and Links golf. My favourite games of that time period were not even bought, but obtained other ways... (MOM, X-com). There is no way anyone would want a game from 1995.

I have roughly 800+ games, counting everything I have on consoles and PC.... I'm a real gaming freak, don't think I ever beat anything though cause my attention span is like zero, and I suck....lol

Oh thank you lord. I am glad to know that most of u guys have like 3 cd cases full of games. Every time ikick my dam toe on those case i have to ask tuber why do u still have these things. and he always tells me cause i might feel like playing them again. So in the end he keeps them and I have managed a nice place out of the way where i dont see them

I keep all my game boxes too. And that takes up a lot of room. all the shelves on my desk, and a decent space on the top shelf in my closet. And this is after I chucked all my game boxes (only time I threw them away) after moving accross country in the navy. I had to save space to fit all my belongings into my vehicle.

I've taken to keeping my software in those cd books that hold 120. Of course there are still some manuals etc. to deal with.

Ive got rid of Red Alert no less than three times only to regret it and re-buy it (its only a fiver from most places)
