I quite agree in not allowing porn of obvious reasons; wounded or dead bodies since that can involve current living persons, of course.

Though, I will object against a ban of pictures that may be considered disturbing as long as they are in line of the topic (obviosly, a thread with the only mean is displaying such pics is of course out of line).

What numbers? That there have been 15,000+ US and coalition casualties? Or that more time has elapsed since 9/11 than the total time the US was at war in WWII (note WWII began at the end of 1941 for you guys, not 1939 like the rest of us... )...
