It is illegal in Center City, Philadelphia to ride bikes on the sidewalk. A lot of towns have ordinances about this sort of thing.

Spandex makes a lot of sense for "hardcore" cyclists, given things like, oh, the wind.

I don't see much of a conspiracy. Bush is a XC biker and Lancer is road biker. Big difference for anybody knows a thing about biking.

Riding a bike without a helmet is just plain stupid. You deserve to have your melon plastered all over the pavement.

Or in my case, being a XC rider a tree or a rock.

ooooh.. just love to tell some downhiller that he shouldn't wear a helmet. Those guys are crazy but not that crazy.
