	Is Port Forwarding required for playing a ctp2-MP game ? Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

Hello everyone,

i'm a newbie. I found the updated servers.dat und patched ctp2 to v1.1(1). No problem. But:

I created a game so a friend can join it, but he cannot :-(

Is port forwarding (pf) required. We both have DSL via a WLAN-Router. Do we need any changes on firewall or nat properties ?

thanks for answering. Is that not explicit for winXP , cause we both have win2k and not winXP. But i will try it.
