I want updates NOW!!! We have NO idea, whom is even reading any of this (i.e. regular posts) and we have had MAJOR things happen.

Frankly, I expected more of our Minister of Information. There is work to be done and I don't see it being done. There have (and still are) polls that the lurkers can get involved with. There are things happening, that we need to make SURE that the lurkers know about.

We know that we have them, the lurkers, because of the information that was collected in the census (which was WHY I had posted the thing in the first place, so that we, the more active members, realize that they are out there). We know that a lot of people want this newsletter and very likely, are waiting for something to happen, before they use their limited time, to check it out.

Let's get off of the stick here....

I'm pretty sure we can do without this on this forum, guys.

Ruby, if you feel ET is doing a bad job and should 'go away' I would invite you to step up and show that you can take his place.

ET, as I said in chat, we can't force anybody to do anything. The stick will do very little good.

Sorry, I'm just frustrated that there is so much new going on and that there might be a lot of people that don't even know it, because of they nature of when they check out this forum. Maybe they are waiting for this newsletter to let them know what is happening. The thing is, I don;t know.

I do know, that close to 1/2 of the 38 people, who voted in the census, are lurkers, some who don't show up that often, especially, if they are thinking that there's not that much going on (because if there was, Paddy would have sent out the Lurker Patrol letting them know that something is happening).

I DO know, that IF I was having to lurk, because of RL commitments and all, that I WOULD be doing just that and not bothering to take a look, until a newsletter was sent out. And with any situation, if one person possibly is doing that, then there is a strong chance that there are more, doing the same thing.

I agree that many of us would like to see a lot more activity in many areas. However, that does not make jack-booted tactics a good idea when trying to encourage participation.

I have to accept some fault here. You voiced concerns to me on this subject. Nothing seemed to happen. That is on me, and I accept my responsibility for this exchange.

Now, may we please move on in a more constructive fashion?
