Does the engaging discourse we have here in OT grind to an abrupt halt when you post in a thread? Let's find out. Go into "My Threads". Count how many threads there are in which you were the last poster and more than one hour has elapsed since that post. Divide that by the total number of threads in "My Threads" (For me, that number seems to be static - 3 pages @ 40 posts/page). Post your results. Perhaps we can establish a rating system based on the responses. Here's mine:

I am a moderately proficient Thread Killer.

Of the first 120 threads in My Threads, I killed 9, or 7.5%.

Of the 500 threads in My Threads, I killed 25, or 5%.

Hmm I appear to have finished 15 threads but only TWO of them were in OT-- The remainder were in SMAX strategy and in many cases were situations where someone asked a question that I answered.

Incorrectly, I might add... like it matters, no one in their right mind really plays SMAX anymore... at least not those ppl who still have questions.

you know what really sucks? We set our pooter up in the basement and wifey is going to want me to spend time with the family and CIV4 is coming out and there is nothing else to do in the basement!

Actually I found for the first year, I got a fair bit of gaming time in since the baby was usually attached to Mrs Flubber and both napped a lot. I could pop upstairs with snacks occasionally and be considered supportive

Nine of those are in on-topic though. And one of those on-topic ones is a thread I actually closed, so I suppose that doesn't count.

But then I don't post much in the OT anyway. Maybe a better statistic would be to see what percentage of the last of the posts you've made in a thread were actually the last post in that thread.

But the more interesting question clearly is:
