If anyone deserves pirating their games its definitely EA Sports.
I would, but none of their games are worth the time, including this.

I was playing on pro, and thought I was playing on rookie ... 2006's pro is roughly comparable to 2005's rookie IMO, although 2006's all-pro is harder than 2005's pro (i only win by a little, whereas in 2005 i usually won by 20-30).
Although I reserve my opinions on Sava, and certainly think that degree of cheating is pretty absurd, I can understand playing Sports games on a semi-but-not-really-challenging level. Mostly because there is rarely-if-ever a truly proper level - where you win sometimes and lose sometimes, and it's a combination of your skill and luck, but more skill, that helps you win - but rather Madden levels tend to be:
1) Way too easy, win by 100
2) Pretty easy, win by 30
3) Hard, lose 70% of your games
4) Impossible, lucky to score
for me. Admittedly I'm not a veterane gamer, and thus why the levels break down like that - and this year it seems all-pro, or 3, is easier than that. If they made more appropriate levels i'd not mind playing at a challenging level, but I get too depressed losing 70% of my games

sure...
and since we're going to use PC images as proof, I'll post proof I'm God, friends with George W. Bush, and the real face on the $1 bill.
also, about "challenge"
I find the whole idea of battling the AI to a somewhat normal score to just be a mediocre game experience. The challenge I find in the game is seeing how much I can dominate the AI.
If I want to have a realistic game experience, I'll watch real NFL. But I want to see Peyton Manning throw a 50 yard bomb to Randy Moss. I want to see Ladanian Tomlinson behind an All-Pro line bust 10 yard gains just about every play. I want to see opposing QB's cry when they throw interception after interception to my DB's... that is, when they aren't getting sacked by the onslaught of Freeney, Peppers, or when I pass rush LB's Peterson, Brooks, and Urlacher.
I want to see Ray Lewis get 16 tackles a game... ON SPECIAL TEAMS!
I don't know guys... but something about doing extraordinary things is attractive to me. Isn't that what gaming is supposed to be about?
If I want a challenge, I'll play myself in Tic-Tac-Toe.

Yup. To be fair, the Bears also gave me one of the closest games thus far, too. The Ravens game was like the Cards game, closer than the score indicated due to a late turnover and subsequent score.
So that's three games that could've gone either way that I won, and another that I lost on a last-minute 55 yard FG.
To me, that is much more fun than trying to run up the highest possible score with a hacked all-star team on a pirated game.
