Hordeland Control Milennium Reform Package Tired of ads?

PROPOSAL FOR ECONOMIC REFORM

This is a badly delayed reform proposals, but needed to bring the Horde to the next level of miltary industrial performance. All proposals are backed in hard statistical and strategic facts, as well as our ambitions.

THE HORDE runs at a 11 gold deficit, yet wants to have more troops and more buildings, yet we cannot afford much.

Based on economic data, we need to raise gold somewhat quick. I have the following remedy for that.

Khan's Blood Hall:

Marketplace in 5 turns, will give 11 gold extra in income per turn, workers can improve last unimproved tiles..

Bokhara, market place
Short term gain, 3 gold per turn, long term gain, 8-9 gold to 12 gold per turn.

Temples in these cities for land expansion and tiles

Brutallica
Bloodview
Bloodfort
The Furnace
Red River Hill
Ta-Tu
Lortbekk

GAIN 51 tiles, food and shield bonus tiles included
NATIONAL SECURITY WITH MORE BORDER CONTROL
less military patrols needed, good economy.

Granary

Filiolus Ala, produce workers and poprush fast
Bloodhue, produce workers and poprush fast

We need many workers and settlers to develop underdeveloped land. Granaries make us waste less food in these settler/worker factories.

I only have one question about Artemis, i know it loses its temples with education but does this only happen if the owner of Artemis researches education, or if any civ researches education.

Sorry...I edited by mistake: Rob C.
Artemis (and any other wonder, for that matter, ironically including the Great Wall--a Firaxis blunder if there ever was one) do not become obsolete until the owner reaches the required technology.

would you say Markets are more urgently required than the temples youve identified ?

Also with so many temples required it would make Artemis seem the sensible way to go. I only have one question about Artemis, i know it loses its temples with education but does this only happen if the owner of Artemis researches education, or if any civ researches education.

My problem with Artemis is the amount of time it would take to build in KBH when its our most productive city we ought to be building troops there.

Thank you Chris

This is a complete package, the market is needed to expand our borders with temples so to say, and to fund two new granaries. Maintenance costs. I would not vouch for Artemis, but rather secure that incense and spices, and trade for wine with Lostboys. Luxuries reduce need for garrisons, entertainers and fixing the slider.

Artemis is too old to make any use, let us look forward.

Hmm, I have a few issues with this plan.

In general it's a very good plan to increase our territory and taxes, but I don't see how this plan can be set in motion at this moment.

Our glorious Capital which is the capital component of this plan is set to Knights Templar for the next 13 turns.

After that I think we should change government to Monarchy, then trigger our golden age and build Temple of Artemis in not more than 15 turns (KBH will produce at least 30 shields per turn in the golden age, probably more with mined hills). If we do this we will invest 500 shields and 15 turns of our Capital instead of investing 420 shields into various temples (which would take about the same time). In addition to this we will spare our economy of 7 gpt maintenance cost and increase our territory slightly more than if we follow the original plan.

However, building Temple of Artemis instead of temples will free these cities to build settlers and increase the number of our cities by at least 10. The increased number of cities would have a greater impact during the golden age (due to unimproved land and reduced military support costs).

Temple of Artemis will never expire as we don't plan to research education. Ever.

After the construction of the Temple of Artemis, our capital and other large cities should build marketplaces to increase tax generation.

These are my initial thoughts. I will put together a more coherent plan in the coming days.

I think we should consider the battle outcome of the Battle of Abba before we dedicate our nation to singlemidledly produce two succesive wonders, which will take a full 30 turns or so. And why did we disband a full three workers to our capital, as we reached 12 pop the very next turn.

I will expand on this later.
