Incidentally, if you're using the Opera browser, you can disable graphics by a very conveniently located button. Even better, it just disables graphics on that tab.

With Firefox, it's harder to find, and it's in the preferences, and it's global.

In any case, disabling graphics allows the page to fall back to normal proportions and be read easily.

each individual forums page (like off-topic or civ4 general) is really messed up...

no graphics and formatting is screwed up

Some icons still seem to be MIA here. Some are just fine.

Some threads open way too wide because of this. This appears to have something to do with AIM links being too long (and showing as text due to the lack of icons).

Looks pretty weird.
